Enter The Void

This motion graphics collage piece is a personal project about a dream I experienced based on liminal spaces, which then became a visual artwork. From a first-person perspective, I designed this artwork with the intention of capturing the essence of music, dance and creativity as if the viewer were in the space.

Liminal spaces are transitional or transformative spaces, and such places are often associated with a gloomy atmosphere, a disconnection from the concept of reality, and a fluid or sometimes neglected aesthetic.

The visual design is based on collage art, and is inspired by the psychedelic visuals from Gaspar Noé’s 2009 film of the same title.

The song is ‘Vanished’ by Crystal Castles.

Love Collide

“Love Collide” is another personal project about a dream that I experienced and transformed into a visual piece. The goal was to translate the dream into a psychedelic artwork through a mosaic of bold and vibrant visuals, and to define how people express their love as well as capturing the feeling.

Scottish Wild Camping

Wild Camping is legal across Scotland, however there are guidelines people should follow. As part of Scotland's access legislation, the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, you have a right of responsible access to most land and inland water and are allowed to camp on most unenclosed land.

‘Feelings’ Music Video

I had the pleasure of collaborating with my good friend Agostino Crolla to direct, design and produce a music video for my Graded Unit in year one of college. Titled ‘Feelings,’ the song includes singers Maria Turnbull and Agostino Crolla himself.

Experimented with scrapbook/collage-style art and motion graphics for the production and design of this music video.

Bloodlines: A Timeless Curse.

‘Bloodlines: A Timeless Curse’ is a student project created and developed by me, functioning as a demo game. I was tasked with creating an engaging and interactive prototype game based on a theme and design of my choice.

The Weeknd - A Lonely Night

(Tino Crolla Remix).

Second music video collaboration with Agostino Crolla. Directed, designed and produced a music video for my Graded Unit in year two of college. This video is a companion piece for Agostino’s remix of A Lonely Night by The Weeknd. Throughout the video there are a variety of different editing styles to compliment the song’s remix style. GHOST - GHOST ‘N’ GRIND EP (Visualisers)

Produced a few music visualisers for a DJ called GHOST. He mainly remixes Punjabi music with Jungle and Bhangra-style influences throughout his catalogue. GHOST reached out to me for some promotional videos to showcase among the anticipated release of his debut EP ‘GHOST N GRIND.’

Role: Motion Graphics & Visualiser Design.

Fletcher Kerr: Bounce - Fletcher’s Filthy Fix.

Created this very ‘bouncy’ visualiser for Fletcher Kerr’s remix of the popular song ‘Bounce’ by Calvin Harris, Fletcher is a DJ and producer from Edinburgh, Scotland, and had a huge debut year in 2022 with releases on Toolroom & Untidy.

Used Adobe After Effects to achieve the spinning vinyl effect and blended vibrant summer-themed visuals overlayed throughout the visualiser.

Visualiser released on the 1st of July 2022.
